AJ AJ AJ

1.  Name, age, marital status:  AJ Anderson (aka Andolls), 19.

2.  Fifteen bands I like or am influenced by:  Slipknot, Malevolent Creation, Bury Your Dead, Chimaira, Despised Icon, Hatebreed, God Forbid, Morbid Angel, All That Remains, Sinai Beach, Disavowed, Martyr A.D., Six Feet Under, As I Lay Dying, and Shadows Fall.

3.  Five local bands I like and/or like playing (shows) with:  Ten Year Scar, Tapered Mind, Under Every Stone, Kilfast, and Navinim.

4.  Why I am in DysfigureTo let out everyday frustrations and aggressions, To channel my feelings in the form of music is my way of expressing feelings and telling others of how I feel. Also to live my dream to be the best I can be and try to make it somewhere with my drumming. I would love to be a professional one day and one day I hope I get my chance.

5.  What I want to see Dysfigure turn into or become:  I would not change what we are for anything in the world, the only things that will become of us is, as time goes by we grow closer as friends, we are all like brothers, a part of my family, better songs, heavier beatdowns, stronger lyrics, and a stage presence from hell!

6.  If I could meet three people (past, present, alive, or dead), they would be:  First, Joey Jordison because he has been the drummer I have always looked up to the most and he is my top idol. Joey Jordison is the drummer of Slipknot. What can I say? He is amazing. Second, Andols Herrick - well, as you can see I earned the nickname of Andols - I guess because everyone says I play like him and Joey Jordison. Andols Herrick is the former drummer of Chimaira. He is a very technical and talented drummer. Third, Pete Sandoval.  Why, you might think. Or who the hell is he, you're probably thinking to yourself. Pete is the drummer of Morbid Angel.  He is the fastest known in the world with his feet known at this time, and when you play Hardcore/Death metal like we do, feet speed is important and I would like to meet him because his speed and timing abilities with his feet are incredible.

7.  If I were stuck on a deserted island, the five CDs I would bring with me would be:  Slipknot- Iowa, Despised Icon-The Healing Process, Chimaira - Pass Out of Exsistence, Bury Your Dead - Cover Your Tracks, Martyr A.D.- On Earth as it is in Hell.

8.  The motto, quote, or philosophy that I live by:  I really dont have one.  I live my life freely, not by a saying.  Whatever happens...happens.  It either affects me in a good or a bad way - usually the bad ways end up becoming a song.

9.  My goals, ambitions, dreams, and/or plans in Dysfigure My goals are to plays shows wherever we can whenever we can, to play shows with as many different bands we can. Just to have fun and take it day by day. Who knows what the future may bring us I just want the best for all of us and I want all of us to be happy. I know whatever the future will bring us, we will be ready for it and we will do our best.

10.  I use the following equipment:  9 piece drum kit 2 kick drums 4 toms 2 floor toms and a snare, CB drums, Joey Jordison's Signature Snare "Power Piccolo" Sabian and Zildjan cymbals. 1 Meinl Generation X filter china (it's my beatdown china).
